How your team gets rewarded

The amount of Bonus Asia Miles your team receives depends on how many new and active Asia Miles members it has – the more active members, the bigger your bonus.Everything starts when the team leader, a selected Asia Miles member, invites non-member friends to join. Once their friends join and earn Asia Miles for the first time from any partner, they’ll be counted as an active member.* The team leader will also receive updates when their friends have successfully signed up for Asia Miles.

Terms and Conditions

1. The promotion period of this Member-Get-Member Referral Promotion (“Promotion”) is from 15 August to 7 October 2016 (HKT), both dates inclusive (“Promotion Period”).
2. To participate in this Promotion, the referrer must be an existing member of the Asia Miles travel and lifestyle rewards programme operated by Asia Miles Limited (“Asia Miles”), who has received this offer message from Asia Miles via email (“Promotion Email”) (the “Referrer”).
3. To participate in this Promotion, the referee must not be an Asia Miles member, does not currently hold and in the past 6 months has not cancelled or held any Asia Miles membership prior to his/her sign up date (the “Referee”).
4. With respect to any referral submitted by the Referrer pursuant to this Promotion, the Referrer warrants and confirms that:
   1. The Referrer has given written notice to the Referee as required under the Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, and has obtained the Referee's prior written consent to the provision of his/her personal data to Asia Miles for the purposes of Asia Miles contacting the Referee and using the Referee's personal data for direct marketing of this Promotion;
   2. The use of personal data by Asia Miles is consistent with the consent which the Referrer has obtained from the Referee;
   3. The data provided by the Referrer is correct and up-to-date;
   4. Asia Miles has the right to request for verification of the data provided by the Referrer;
   5. Asia Miles may advise the Referee that the Referrer had provided the Referee's personal data to Asia Miles; and
   6. The Referrer shall indemnify Asia Miles for any loss, damage or liability suffered or incurred by Asia Miles arising from or in relation to the breach of any of the above warranties by the Referrer, including all consequences arising from the use of any incorrect information provided to Asia Miles or any improper collection, use or disclosure of the Referee’s information for the Promotion.
5. A computer-generated invitation email (“Invitation Email”) will be sent to each Referee on behalf of Referrer, in accordance with the recipient name and email address provided by the Referrer. In the Invitation Email, the Referee will be notified that the Referrer provided his/her contact information to Asia Miles.
6. A computer-generated confirmation email (“Confirmation Email”) will be sent to notify the Referrer that an Invitation Email has been sent out by the system to the Referee. This Confirmation Email is a not proof or guarantee that the Referee has received the Invitation Email.
7. A computer-generated acceptance email will be sent to the Referrer on behalf of the Referee when the relevant Referee completes the enrolment process (as stated in Clause 9B and 10B below).
8. The contact information of Referees, as provided by the Referrer, will not be stored or used for any purpose other than this Promotion. For more information, please read Asia Miles’s Customer Privacy Policy.
9. The Referrer is eligible for the Referral Bonus Reward under the Promotion (as described in Clause 11 below), if ALL of the following conditions are fulfilled within the Promotion Period (“Eligible Referrer”):
   1. The Referrer must register for the Promotion successfully through the unique registration link in the Promotion Email sent by Asia Miles within the Promotion Period; and
   2. The Referrer refers at least one Referee who successfully joins as a new Asia Miles member via the unique referral enrolment link in the Referrer’s Invitation Email (“Unique Enrolment Link”), and the same Referee completes his/her 1st Earning Activity (as described in Clause 11 below) within the Promotion Period (“Successful Referral”).
10. The Referee is eligible for the Referral Bonus Rewards under the Promotion if ALL of the following conditions are fulfilled within the Promotion Period (“Eligible Referee”):
    1. The Referee enrols via the Unique Enrolment Link during the Promotion Period, and successfully enrols as an Asia Miles Member; and
    2. The Referee completes a qualifying earning activity within the Promotion Period and with an Asia Miles partner, which must fall into one of 9 partner categories from Asia Miles, including Airline, Finance & Insurance, Hotels, Telecoms, Cars & Transport, Retail, Dining & Banquets, Travel & Leisure and Professional Services (“1st Earning Activity”). Specific terms and requirements may be applicable for individual Asia Miles partners. For more details, please visit www.asiamiles.com. Asia Miles shall bear no liability relating to any Asia Miles partners or other third party products and/or services, including their quality, supply, description or false description, misrepresentation, misstatement, omission, unauthorised representation, unfair trade practices or conduct in connection with the products and/or services provided by such Asia Miles partners, their employees, officers, agents or other third parties.
11. Referral Bonus Reward
    1. For every Successful Referral made during the Promotion Period, Referees and their relevant Referrer shall each be entitled to Bonus Asia Miles (“Bonus Miles”), the amount of which shall be determined as follows:

    2. Each Referrer and Referee can only earn Bonus Miles once. The four Bonus Miles tiers are mutually exclusive and each Referrer and Referee is only entitled to Bonus Miles in one tier. For each Referrer, only the first 4 Successful Referrals will count towards the Referral Bonus Reward. A maximum of 2,000 Bonus Miles may be earned per Eligible Referrer or Eligible Referee; and
    3. If according Asia Miles‘s records, the information provided to Asia Miles is insufficient as considered by Asia Miles or its partners, as the case may be, if any requirement relating to the Referral Bonus Reward has not been met, cannot be successfully recorded in Asia Miles‘s system, or is not correct for whatever reasons, Asia Miles reserves the absolute right to cancel or forfeit any Bonus Miles entitlement.
12. Both the Referrer and Referee will NOT be eligible for any Referral Bonus Rewards through this Promotion if the Referee enrols through other channels.
13. The Referrer and Referee cannot be the same person. Referrers and Referees cannot refer each other and a Referee who has been successfully referred by one Referrer cannot be referred by the same Referrer again or by other Referrers.
14. If a Referee is referred by more than one Referrer and the Referee qualifies as an Eligible Referee, only the first submission of Referee’s enrolment (as determined in accordance with Asia Miles‘s records) and the relevant Referrer will be eligible for the Referral Bonus Reward.
15. Any fraud and/or abuse of the Promotion by a Referrer or Referee (as determined by Asia Miles at its sole discretion) will result in forfeiture of the Referrer and Referee’s eligibility to participate in the Promotion and/or cancellation of all or part of the Referrer and Referee’s Asia Miles’ member account(s).
16. Bonus Miles will be credited to the member’s account 6 to 8 weeks after this Promotion ends.
17. Both Referrer and Referee membership accounts must be active and remain in good standing at the time any Bonus Miles are credited.
18. Asia Miles reserves the right to vary, modify or terminate the Referral Bonus Reward, and to change these terms and conditions or terminate this Promotion from time to time without prior notice.
19. The Referrer and Referee’s eligibility for the Referral Bonus Reward, including the calculation of Bonus Miles, is to be determined by Asia Miles based on its latest records. In case of any dispute, the decision of Asia Miles shall be final.
